Gallery FCB, located in Chelsea, is pleased to announce the opening of "Desert Shores - Views From The Salton Sea," a new show of color photographs by Patrick Harbron. Photographed during the last 2 1/2 years, "Desert Shores" is a compelling look at a unique and extreme American desert landscape. This collection featuring expansive views, mid-century architecture and the curious environment of California's Salton Sea is a contrast of tenacity, beauty and abandonment. "Desert Shores" with its emphasis on where people lived rather than the people themselves is a departure for Harbron, a photographer known for his offbeat portrait work for magazines, film and music. His clients include Time Warner, Universal, ABC, Home Box Office, AT&T, Sony Music and Pepsico. He is a faculty member at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York and the recipient of numerous awards.
